Research finds most professional trustees find regulation overly complex

Skilled professional defined benefit (DB) trustees are being driven out of their roles by overly complex and burdensome regulatory requirements, Charles Stanley Fiduciary Management says.

The wealth manager’s research found almost two thirds (62%) of professional DB scheme trustees find the current regulatory environment taxing and convoluted and are planning to step down from their role within the next three years.
